A heavy monsoon rainstorm that passed through the greater Phoenix area Friday morning, July 23, left the driver of a tractor-trailer in a precarious position.
Authorities say the truck was on westbound Interstate 10 at the I-17 split when it somehow hit the edge. The driver was uninjured, but the cab of the truck was left hanging off the interstate overpass.
Police continue their investigation.
