A Connecticut State trooper avoided serious injury this morning when a set of tires detached from a passing tractor-trailer and struck his patrol car parked alongside westbound Interstate 84 in Willington.
The trooper attempted to follow the tractor-trailer in question but had to pull off the highway. They seek the public's help in locating the truck.
