Daylight Saving Time begins Sunday at 2 a.m.; be sure to spring ahead

Yes, it's that time again when we spring forward.

Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, March 12.

So, before you crawl into your sleeper berth Saturday night, you'll want to set your clocks ahead by one hour. Note that many digital clocks -- those on smartphones, tablets, laptops, etc. -- will do that for you.

Check your ELD's manual to be sure your device automatically makes the time change. Same for your truck's clock.

Looking ahead, Daylight Saving Time ends (and you fall back) at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 5.

Just keep in mind, no matter if you're moving ahead an hour or falling back, hours of service regulations still apply.
