Running Interstates 95 and/or 40 in North Carolina this week, expect to see more troopers.
Their special three-day traffic enforcement effort is part of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration SafeDRIVE campaign (Distracted Reckless Impaired Visibility Enforcement).
They'll be watching commercial and passenger vehicles for aggressive driving, speeding, tailgating, failing to wear safety belts, distracted driving and impaired driving.
