Even in the middle of the many entries in the Truck Beauty Contest at this summer’s Walcott Truckers Jamboree and the hundreds of trucks passing through the Iowa 80 Truckstop, one Kenworth stood out.
So did its driver.
Audrey Cloutier’s 2016 Kenworth W900L became the backdrop for many a selfie during the show in July for two good reasons:
1. It’s as handsome a new truck as there is on the road
2. It is pink. Not baby pink or pastel pink or blushing shoolgirl pink, but PINK!
So is its matching Wabash trailer.
The 30-year-old woman from Quebec drives for Can/US and is an unabashed Kenworth fan. She even has the company logo tattooed on her right forearm.
“I have a dream truck,” said Cloutier, who got into driving thanks to a former boyfriend. “I love what I do and am so lucky.”
