It happened again. Another driver of another dump truck driving down another highway with the dump box up slams into yet another bridge. This time it occurred on East 49th St. near Interstate 77 in Cleveland. The truck struck the footbridge at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 30. The driver, 76-year-old Joseph Gammalo of Strongsville, was taken to the hospital as a precaution and was cited with failure to give full time and attention as well as operating an unsafe vehicle. Ohio DOT inspected the bridge.
