Some of us know about Highway 50 — the loneliest road in America.
Well back in the early ’80’s we were driving this road late at night and drifted off the road and down the embankment. We totaled the truck and the trailer.
When we spoke to the Nevada Highway Patrol later, he informed us that that area was known for some of the highest numbers of accidents in the state, due to what he heard were possibly unusual magnetic fields in the area. Sort of like the Bermuda Triangle.
See this five-hour drive along Highway 50 compressed to about nine and a half minutes.
