The team has driven for National Carriers for 30 years and have delivered 4,000 loads and driven over 5 million miles without a reportable accident.
The Smiths received $5,000 as part of their recognition. Allen said they wanted to work for a company that could keep them busy and get them home to West Virginia, and National Carriers has been able to do both for them.
Jim Franck, president of National Carriers, said the duo’s upbeat attitude is an asset. “They always have a positive, can-do attitude. They go out of their way to be professional in everything they do. They have set a high standard for those who follow in their footsteps. Thank you for all you do. It’s been my privilege to work alongside you.”
