(Image Courtesy of Idaho Trucking Association)ABF Freight driver Timothy Melody, of Payette, was named the Grand Champion at the 2018 Idaho Truck Driving Championship, making it the second year in a row that he’s been Grand Champion. Melody also won first place in the tanker class.
The Idaho trucking competition is put on yearly by the Idaho Trucking Association. It was held May 5 at the Idaho State Police Training Facility. Sixty-four truckers from 16 different companies competed.
Stephanie Henderson, a driver for Standlee Hay Trucking Company, Inc., from Rupert, won the Rookie of the Year award.
