C.R. England’s initiative to drive out childhood hunger by making monetary donations to food banks each time a driver successfully delivers a load has now surpassed over 500,000 meals.
C.R. England launched the One Initiative earlier this year. Each time a driver successfully delivers a load, the fleet donates a meal to one of its 19 food bank partners with programs that benefit children in need. The fleet’s goal is to provide one million meals to U.S. children in need by the end of 2018.
The initiative surpassed 500,000 meals in June and is now honing in on 600,000 meals, according to its live meal count tracker.
